what an awesome day! elsbeth arrived today from yellowknife after a two day drive! the last time i saw elsbeth was...man, i can't remember the last time i saw elsbeth. man, it really has been that long. i was so excited to see her! she fukkin rawks!
her friend galya came with her from yellowknife, and was in need of a haircut
i had spent most of today in front of a sewing machine, turning some ideas i had and fabric into reality. hooray shambhala outfits! hooray taking old outfits and reinventing them! hooray skinnier norm ;)
erin showed up a few hours later from jasper. the last time i saw erin was in february after she had driven to vancouver to pick me up. and now she had driven from jasper to calgary to see me. i was so excited to see her...and holy shit am i blessed to have such radiant goddesses in my life who have travelled such far distances to spend time with me.

erin had food poisoning from eating fish last night, and yet she still drove here to see me. i am so honoured to know you erin, to love you. i can't believe that even when you are throwing up, you still drove to calgary to see me. you never cease to amaze me. i love you.
we headed to morgan's to hear some 80z glam rock covers performed by broken toyz. oh man these guys are good.
